We owe you an apology. Being called Easy Ceiling, we have led you to believe that we are only in the ceiling business. But that is not the case. We do light panels, which fit under ceilings like this one we did at Gatwick Airport, and even walls! In a recent install for creative events engineers Stage One, we helped them build an entire false room using stretch ceilings for everything but the floor!

We relish a challenge at Easy Ceiling. And this project was certainly that. Just prior to the 2024 Olympics we were contacted by Stage One to see if we could help them create a false room in the centre of Paris to showcase video reels for a number of luxury brand sponsors. Stage One built the structure for the false room. We then attached our aluminium track and stretch canvases to provide the walls and ceiling for the room, manually cutting out spaces for door frames and projectors. The most challenging time aspect of the project was brief, 5 days! Stage One started building the room on Monday, we arrived on Wednesday to attach the walls and ceiling, and the project was completed on Friday!
As you can see from the picture above and video below, we produced, supplied and installed a black gloss canvas for the walls and ceiling. Its highly effective properties enabled a fantastic showcase of the sponsors’ films.
We were delighted to help Stage One with this project and look forward to working with them on more false rooms or custom built exhibition stands. Stretch ceilings are a highly flexible product so perfect for this kind work.
